Glenn G Weiss

Glenn Weiss is one of the most sought-after teachers in the world. He not only had an illustrious competitive career but has also coached and still coaches many of the top dancers today. 

Glenn was one of the most phenomenal youth athletes to come out of Denmark. His talent won him, his first Danish Championship at the age of 8 – within 2 years of starting to dance. He was crowned European International Standard Champion at age 16, Nordic Champion every 2nd year since age 8, and World Standard Champion in 1984 and 1985. 

Here are just some of the many accolades he has accomplished in his career; former World Amateur Modern Champion, former World Professional Standard Finalist, Two-time World Champion, British Open (AKA Blackpool Dance Festival) Champion, International Champion, European Champion, and United Kingdom (AKA UK) Champion. 

Glenn currently resides in Southern California where he teaches at local studios. In addition to teaching in Southern California, he also travels all over the U.S., Europe, and Asia to teach.

Glenn was a Choreographer on the Show “So You Think You Can Dance” Fox TV Ballroom Dancing.  He is a member of DS (the Danish Dancesport Organization). Glenn has many judging highlights including, The International Championship in London, the German Masters, the Japan Open, the USDSC in Florida, the Ohio Star Ball Championship, and other North American, European, and Asian competitions throughout the year.
